BEATLES NA FAVELA

The AfroReggae Cultural Group has joined forces with the band All You Need Is Love to create one of the most amazing shows ever performed on The Beatles.

Beatles na Favela is a mega production, directed by Rafael Carriço and Claudia Martins, great stage structure, special effects, circus numbers, contemporary dance, trapezoids and orchestra. The show premiered in São Paulo in April 2016, and now arrives in Porto Alegre, with performance this Sunday (26), at the Bourbon Country Theater.

Videography and scenery are creations of the Vortice Dance Company, a respected Portuguese contemporary dance company worldwide. Exclusively for the preparation of this assembly, the group stayed in Brazil for more than three months. The circus artists and dancers are from the core of AfroReggae, which works with underprivileged young people, between 14 and 25 years old, from the Favela do Cantagalo, headquarters of Criança Esperança, in Rio de Janeiro.
